blindsided
rusty hinges
dirty last day
cowardly pathetic face
chucked in some garbage bags
the dreams
birds and other lands
laughing off the drowsy cold sweat
.
hindering awkward limps
dead desiccated branches falling over head
in reality near death
letters and sentences waiting not for humanity’s last breath
a heart congested
melon vines crawling over the black and blue bruised
bite of history
.
woeful calls of a barn-owl at the foot of the horizon
upon a new day in bitter melancholy
concealed within the blood
drawn from long ago to now
convoluted and vague
missing the point

Born August 14th, 1973, writes under many pseudonyms: Nguyễn Lãm Thắng, Lam Thuỵ, Trà Thị Kim Xuyến and as a children’s author: Nguyễn Trần Bảo Nghi, Du Lãm, Nhật Quang, Nguyễn Trần Khải Tú…
Hometown: Tịnh Đông Tây, Đại Lãnh, Đại Lộc, Quảng Nam.
Bachelor of Arts and Literature at The University of Huế, 1998.
Master in Hán-Nôm, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, The National University of Hà Nội, 2011.
Ph.D. in Linguistics, The Faculty of Science, The University of Huế, 2014.
Currently a resident lecturer of the Faculty of Education, The University of Huế.
