Say

A poem in Vietnamese by Phạm Hiền Mây
Translator: Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

SAY… .

the world is as green and as fresh as yesterday

what could age say

a mere game is impermanence

the leaves yellowed in moments fell

/

what has been lost between you and me

lined up in rows of lonely smoke

the impermanence of each minute

heaven and earth in an endless hue of clouds say… .

NÓI GÌ… .

nhân gian vừa mới xanh rì

chợt nay úa biết nói gì để vơi

vô thường thoắt đến trò chơi

thoắt đi ngày bóng sầu rơi lá vàng

/

nỗi còn mất với nhau càng

thêm cô đơn gió hôm hàng khói ngây

vô thường ấy mỗi phút giây

đất trời muôn một màu mây nói gì… .
