.

the agonizing rush towards the promised land

the lies of those holding onto the acres

affront the separations upon a torturous land

returning to the desolation of nowhere

.

the flickering distant dreams

a pillow of rocks and pebbles by the road

faces pale and bloodless hues of banana leaves

letting go of that far away home

.

the enduring vigil

layers upon layers of the anxious crowd

amidst the endless nothingness

affront the rapidly dying day

.

an elephant through the eye of a needle

an ant lost its way

the generations clumsy fingers searching for each other

absent even from between the gutters 

.

the waiting through the night

the rising sun in baby steps

.

hành hạ vận tốc về đất hứa

kẻ giữ đất hứa nói liêu xiêu

phân ly chạy tới miền đau cứa

quay về phía vô hướng quạnh hiu

.

trong mơ xa tắp giấc chập chùng

gối đầu kê trên đường đá cuội

khuôn mặt xanh nhạt màu lá chuối

ngôi nhà xa hút vẫy tay buông

.

choàng tỉnh gấp gáp đến dường nào 

lớp lớp đám đông ngày nháo nhào

ở giữa hư vô trùng điệp điệp

hình như phía trước  chiều xuống mau

.

con voi chui lọt sâu lỗ kim

con kiến mất đường về tổ kiến

tay gia quyến quờ quạng  kiếm tìm

vắng mặt nơi chốn bèo rẻ rúng

.

ơi ới ơi thức đợi những sớm mai

mặt trời mọc cùng bước chân trẻ nhỏ

.
