Tear it all up

TEAR IT ALL UP

Tear it all up
Put it all through the shredder
Throw it all in a furnace
To be sure, take a hammer to it

Let it be ash, gravel, dust
Set it free in the wind
See it drift to the sea
To be sure set it free

Why keep it
Laden in your gut
Be the whole of your being
“Let it go, let it go…”
(like that childish song)

The shadow
The shadows
The shadows that follow
All that sorrow.
