your lips bloomed like a flower

A poem in Vietnamese by Lê Vĩnh Tài

your lips

bloomed like a flower

upon me as though I was

the sea

`

you’re the rain

and amongst the waves we loved in silence

without sound

_____

đôi môi của bạn

mở ra với tôi như một bông hoa

bạn áp vào tôi như tôi là biển

`

bạn là mưa

chúng ta yêu nhau trong con sóng

lặng lẽ không có tiếng động
