A poem in Vietnamese by Phạm Hiền Mây
Translator: Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

FOREVER YES
.
forever, yes
the yellow of petals
shimmering endlessly on new grass
.
so the residing day may forever be a poem
a perpetual guest of an idyllic world with a heart
.
forever yes
through the shadow of time
with the tempest of this world on our shoulders
.
upon the precipice of my dreams
next to you, gaze at the dying light
.
by dusk watch the falling leaves
listen to the courtship song of the blackbird
forever, yes.

MÃI NHA…
.
mãi nha
màu cánh hoa vàng
lung linh với cỏ xanh tràn non tơ
.
cho ngày trọ cứ hoài thơ
cho đời khách cứ mộng mơ trú tình
.
mãi nha
năm tháng bóng hình
dù trần gian vẫn chúng mình gió vai
.
bên thềm em ước một mai
cùng anh ngắm nắng trời phai dặt dìu
.
ngắm hàng hiên lá rơi chiều
và nghe sáo hót yêu nhiều
mãi nha… .
