A walk in the rain

A walk in the rain

Muffling footsteps say

Hey, I’m sane

The pitter-patter on the tin roof

The pulse in my ears

Is it not proof

“Remember me…

for soon I will be gone

until you’re in my arms again.”

Wet footprints on pavements

Remember me.
