one lonely hand

A poem in Vietnamese by Lê Vĩnh Tài
Translator: Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm
Art: Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

=

a lonely hand

reached out

& pulled me back

into my shadow

=

one hand, you’re the only one

I could…

thank you

=

now the blood I bleed is black

=

August 2019

_____

=

một bàn tay cô độc

vươn ra

kéo tôi trở lại

bóng tối của mình

=

bàn tay, bạn là người duy nhất

tôi có thể…

cám ơn bạn

=

tôi

bây giờ chảy máu màu đen
