the highland’s winter attentive to the breath of foliage 

–

smouldering within the axils of leaves the burning winter 

me rising holding tightly onto a kiss

the draft breath taking

I’m trapped between the copulating scent of the mountains and the light

your skirt flying full of pride

pulling me along stupefied mesmerised upside down a slippery slope

–

upon the ancient cliffside the sound fossilised

the clamouring of an alien language

streams bubbling away in anticipation of a glorious season

breaking the soundness of your glance, birdsongs

me falling into an ocean, scent of you

amongst the chorus of undulating waves, I’m floating

breasts warm, sweet to the very limit of bare shoulders

boulders, humming, attentive to the age old breath

mummified corpse of winter

the fiery slopes of your lips

trên cao nguyên mùa đông nghe đá thở 

–

mùa đông âm ỉ cháy trong nách lá 

anh bám chặt nụ hôn đứng dậy 

gió lùa nghẹt thở 

anh níu giữ chùm ánh sáng đang giao phối hương núi 

chiếc váy em sóng sánh kiêu hãnh 

kéo anh treo ngược triền si muội

–

âm thanh hóa thạch trên vách núi già nua 

tri hô loài ngôn ngữ lạ 

suối thản nhiên róc rách dự cảm mùa vui 

tiếng chim cắn vỡ ánh mắt nhìn sâu hút 

anh rơi trong biển hương em 

& bơi trườn trên điệp khúc sóng 

ngọt tận cùng vai trần ngực ấm 

phiến đá ư hừ theo tiếng thở của hàng nghìn năm xác ướp 

mùa đông 

cháy khét triền môi

Born August 14th, 1973, writes under many pseudonyms: Nguyễn Lãm Thắng, Lam Thuỵ, Trà Thị Kim Xuyến and as a children’s author: Nguyễn Trần Bảo Nghi, Du Lãm, Nhật Quang, Nguyễn Trần Khải Tú…

Hometown: Tịnh Đông Tây, Đại Lãnh, Đại Lộc, Quảng Nam. 

Bachelor of Arts and Literature at The University of Huế, 1998.

Master in Hán-Nôm, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, The National University of Hà Nội, 2011.

Ph.D. in Linguistics, The Faculty of Science, The University of Huế, 2014.

Currently a resident lecturer of the Faculty of Education, The University of Huế.
