A poem in Vietnamese by Phạm Hiền Mây
Translator: Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

humanity may remain forever in my heart
to myself more so true
the way the wind always blows through
the fall is so very blue
the way the clouds mark the sky
affection like smoke passes by
unconditional love thought reserved for humanity
trice I am more true to my heart than my love for thee… .
TƯỞNG… .
thương người bằng hết chân tình
tưởng thôi mình vẫn thương mình phần hơn
như muôn thuở gió hoài cơn
lá thương bày rụng cô đơn xuống đời
như muôn thuở nước in trời
khói thương dòng bóng mây vời vợi qua
thương người tưởng rất bao la
mà thương mình lại gấp ba thương người… .
