A poem in Vietnamese by Lê Vĩnh Tài
Translator: Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

THREATS

If you're a book
I would read you more than once

If you're a dream
I would never wake up

If you're a star
I would never look down

If you're a flower
I would never look up

If you were mine
I don't know what I'm going to do
But, I will do it

ĐE DỌA

nếu bạn là một cuốn sách
tôi sẽ đọc lại bạn

nếu bạn là một giấc mơ
tôi sẽ không bao giờ thức dậy

nếu bạn là một ngôi sao
tôi sẽ không bao giờ nhìn xuống

nếu bạn là một bông hoa
tôi sẽ không bao giờ nhìn lên

nếu bạn là của tôi
tôi không biết tôi sẽ làm gì
nhưng tôi sẽ làm
