Rain | Bùi Kim-Anh

Bui Kim-Anh

A poem in Vietnamese by Bùi Kim-Anh
Translation by Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

rain
each small drop
each rhythmic spatter on the tin roof

white
each white hair
each curl
each burst of silver
time
could it ever be
tided up

MƯA

kìa mưa
từng giọt nhỏ
mái tôn thủng gõ nhịp rời

kìa trắng
từng sợi trắng
bạc òa trên mái tóc
có gì cột thời gian được đâu
