a pair of bird’s wings posing
to protect two tired arms
coins posing as a ticket
for a train long gone

and the smoke posing
to protect its two shadows?
surely we are all now suffocating
from all the posing

so when you pose
look content
since tight lipped
and silent is the poem

the way baby poses
in the middle of the night…

the mist protecting a cloud
the bird protecting tired arms
the coins protecting a train trip
the smoke protecting the two shadows
the posing suffocating
the poem like silent night
the pain with so much to hide

sương mù
giả vờ để bảo vệ một đám mây
những con chim
giả vờ để bảo vệ hai cánh tay đã mỏi
vài đồng xu
giả vờ bảo vệ vé một chuyến tàu mất hút

và đám khói
giả vờ bảo vệ hai cái bóng của nó?
chắc chắn những sự giả vờ
đã làm chúng ta ngộp thở

vì vậy khi thơ giả vờ
ngó lơ yên phận
đôi môi của thơ
đã rơi đâu mất

như em
giả vờ lúc nửa đêm…

– viết lại thành lục bát

sương mù bảo vệ đám mây
con chim bảo vệ cánh tay đã nhàu
đồng xu bảo vệ con tàu
khói tro bảo vệ sắc màu bóng thôi
giả vờ ngộp thở và đôi
môi thơ rơi rụng mất rồi còn đâu
nửa đêm là lúc vờ đau…
