fronds of sugarcane like swords | Thái Hạo

Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

A poem in Vietnamese by Thái Hạo
Translation & photography by Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

Fronds of sugarcane like swords
rips apart the moonlit night
couldn’t depart from those deep dark eyes

(cuts deep)

Lá mía như gươm
khua nát đêm trăng
không thể lìa những mắt sâu
