At what age are you expired?
too old for sex
too old for romance
too old to exist.
The cold is seeping into my bones
and my mind is stiff with desire.
Is passion an invention for the young?
A lifetime of broken hearts
carved into each wrinkle
sagging body bit
meant nothing?
At the end of my journey
by my bag tricks
to the day
my heart ceases to be.
