Such a terrible poem! | Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

The “silly” season returns
The butter we’ll churn
The turkey we will turn
and presents to earn.

Christ birthday so near
Angels’ herald we hear
Drums loud and clear
Christians breakout in cheer

Apologize not the ode
the rhyme ran so bold
As it were the year old
I’m not to be told

Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm, the blogger, poet, and translator, was born in 1971 in Phu Nhuan, Saigon, Vietnam. The pharmacist currently lives and works in Western Sydney, Australia.
