Tôi vẫn ăn mắm
mọi thứ, nhưng chữ thì không phải chữ nào cũng nuốt được
bởi vì chữ là thứ biến thái và lươn lẹo
đôi khi thối hơn cứt
chữ lừa bịp về sự cao cả của tình yêu
chữ gian dối về tính nhân văn của con người
chữ biến tự do thành nô lệ
và chữ giết người bằng lý tưởng.

Tôi vẫn ăn mắm
như ăn em mỗi ngày
và tôi yêu em
như yêu mắm ủ từ những mùa mưa trước
nhưng chữ thì tôi đã vứt vào sọt rác, từ khuya.
