LÝ QUA CẦU
Bài lý qua cầu ngày xưa ai hát
bây giờ vẫn đung đưa bên nhớ bên thương
dòng sông đợi người sóng cuốn
tháng năm xoáy vào tim nhau
bài hát lý qua cầu mà người không qua cầu
để nón rơi tuột quai nón
để cầu treo lắt lẻo bước chân ai
dứt áo mà về mênh mông gió nhớ
qua cầu ơi hỡi mấy mùa thương!
Lý Qua Cầu
the folklore in our heart
a song from the past
undulating between love and longing
waves of a river missing
eddies of time curls up in our chest
a song about a bridge
but no one wants to cross it
chins held too high
footsteps nigh
undone buttons and sighs
crossing the bridge is how many seasons
missing from each other!
