I’ve met you in the moment light was conceived
Sleeves flying waving calling
A sudden dream that wove the wind
An illusion passing a time of love lost

Now I welcome you home
Song of winds, of clouds overflown at ends of horizons
Also those raw rough verses from the roots of trees
Speaking of thunder, earthquakes, tidal waves
About small minds, jealousy, tantrums
A life of struggle, bitterness, injustice…

Can you see it?
In this unhinged world, the verse pours out in floods
Amongst light and dark, black and white
Between good and evil, amidst the words of power
Not mere sweet words riding passion
The beauty of poetry in itself ignites
Daily torments me.

VẺ ĐẸP THƠ

Gặp em từ nắng sinh ra
tà áo tung bay lụa là vẫy gọi
chợt mơ làm ngọn gió vờn quanh
ảo ảnh thoáng qua một thời thương nhớ

Bây giờ anh đón em về
thơ gió thơ mây đã bay đầy chân trời góc bể
còn có câu thơ sần sùi gốc rễ
kể về bão giông, động đất, sóng thần
về sự nhỏ nhen, ghen tuông, hờn lẫy
về cuộc sống nhọc nhằn, cay đắng, bất công …

Thấy không em
trong thế giới gập ghềnh, thơ như dòng lũ chảy
giữa phản hồi sáng tối, trắng đen
giữa thiện ác chênh vênh, giữa ngôn từ quyền lực
không chỉ ngọt ngào uốn lượn mê say
vẻ đẹp thơ tự thân rực cháy
ray rứt anh hằng ngày ..
