a forgotten tumulus | Lê Thanh My

Lê Thanh My

A poem in Vietnamese by Lê Thanh My
Translator: Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

a memory upon
a forgotten tumulus

days drowning in dreams
dry desiccated grass
budding
unfurling white light
a pristine
new moon…

trên đồi cỏ quên
và ta bỗng nhớ

những ngày bị dìm vào mộng mị
thấy cỏ khô rậm rịch đâm chồi
một đóm trắng
lập lờ nở sáng
mà trăng lòng đã mở tinh khôi…
