A poem in Vietnamese by Lê Vĩnh Tài

three pillars
turning into one phallic symbol
as soon as the poet opens up
a freshly printed book of poetry
from it comes soil dirt water and flower
turns into the wind
a wonderful world once upon a time
full of dream
fallen like poetry
over the relic of a helicopter
poets’ spurting blood
the shooting
never ceasing
tam trụ
thành nhất trụ linga
khi nhà thơ mở tập thơ mới in ra
từ ấy đất nước máu và hoa
thành gió lộng
những chân trời từng mơ mộng
từng ngã xuống như thơ
bên xác trực thăng
những nhà thơ máu chảy thành dòng
vẫn không ngừng bắn
