Arms outstretched
I engulfed them in my arms
My endeavors to keep them warm
Hold them
The source of my life.

Likewise, the reason I enjoy reading your blog. You are not afraid to give pieces of your life away. I don’t know why people are worried about AI, most people already write like that. They ask for an assessment of their work, but I know they are not ready for the criticism. I am guilty of leaving comments like “lovely” to appease a complete stranger’s desire. My new year resolution is to stop doing that. 55 is far too old for such frivolity. 🙂

you mean “35” right? 😀
you know, it’s really nice that you do that. i can understand though why you’d want to stop. the whole culture of social media is so saturated that people often have to decide whether they want to be a creator or whether they want to engage thoughtfully with their audience. unfortunately, it seems like the money rewards strictly the creators. i was really lucky here on wordpress that I found accounts like yourself that want to engage beyond the likes AND has tangible content. i don’t know how you’re able to do it with 2 kids – it’s very inspiring 🙂

Heheh, thanks, 55 yeah, since I was born in the year of the dog, we count the year we were in our mother’s womb. My adult children have moved out, my daughter only recently with her partner. The house is quiet. I’m planning to huge clean up parallel with the decluttering of my brain. Translating is fun, producing content has never been a goal, too much pressure, I just do what I like now. I love blogging and reading. I get to be other people. Literature is so much more accessable compare to the 80’s LOL.. But really, the feeling is mutual. You inspire me. We can go on like this forever ha ha.. Have a cool weekend yeah. :))
